KUSHTIA: AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha has won the 11th parliamentary elections, with Awami League ticket, to represent Kushtia-1 constituency. 

He bagged 2,76,978 votes while his rival BNP candidate received 3,420 votes, according to unofficial results.

Voting for the Daulatpur upazila constituency was held at 126 polling centers from 8am to 4pm Sunday (Dec 30) as elsewhere in the country.
