DHAKA: New Zealand made hard work of taking lead by 137 runs over Bangladesh at stumps on day-3 in the second Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

The visiting team will resume their first innings with 419 runs and two wickets on Thursday.

Williamson scored 62, Taylor 53, Anderson 116 while Watling and Sodhi not out 59 and 55.

Shakib Al Hasan bagged five wickets.

Earlier, Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 282 runs in 74.5 over in the first innings.

Tamim Iqbal, Mominul Haque and Marshal Ayub scored 95, 47 and 41 runs respectively.

N Wagner bagged five wickets, Sodhi three while Anderson and Boult got one wicket each.
