South Africa seal T20 series

DHAKA: South Africa beat Bangladesh by 31 runs in the second T20 Tuesday to seal the series by 2-0.

While chasing South Africa-set 170-run target, Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 138 in 19.2 over at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.

Soumya scored 37 and Rony 21 runs. Abott, Leie and Phangiso got three wickets each.

Earlier the Proteas skipper won the toss and elected to bat first. From the beginning of the match, South African openers started smashing the Bangladeshi bowlers. 

Kock scored 44, Villiers 40 and Miller 30 to lead the team to 169. Nasir Hossain bagged two wickets while Sunny and Mustafiz got one each.

On July 5, the visitors won the first T20 by 52 runs at Mirpur stadium.
