Two prosecution witnesses today testified in a narcotics case against former Jubo League leader Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat and his associate Enamul Haque Arman at a Dhaka court.

Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Musa Miah and businessman Shahadat Alam testified as PW-2 and 3, at the court of Dhaka Seventh Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Saifur Rahman Mazumdar. 

The court adjourned the hearing until August 14. 

The case, filed by RAB in October 2019 under the Arms and Narcotics Acts, saw its first witness testify on May 7. 

Charges were framed in January 2025.
