DHAKA: Ruling Awami League president, also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Sunday will purchase her party’s first nomination paper for participating in the upcoming 10th National Elections.

Party’s joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif informed the matter to banglanews.

Hanif said Sheikh Hasina would receive the first application as aspirant for Gopalganj-3 (Tungipara-Kotalipara) constituency. Later, she is likely to receive nomination papers for Rangpur-6 and Bagerhat-1 constituencies.

The Awami League president was elected from the constituencies in the last 9th national elections.

However, Awami League will start issuing nomination papers from Sunday.

Awami League aspirants can purchase nomination papers from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily from party’s central office at capital’s Bangabandhu Avenue.
