Police arrested the main accused in the murder case of businessman Nayan Mia on Wednesday (May 25) in Narsingdi.

The miscreant was arrested with a homemade gun and 100 pieces of yaba, the police said.

Narsingdi Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Saheb Ali Pathan said this at a press conference held at the office of the Superintendent of Police on Wednesday afternoon.

Nayan was stabbed to death for not paying protection money to the local gang members, said Saheb Ali Pathan.
