A fire broke out at a slum in Johuri Mohalla adjacent to the Bihari camp in Mohammadpur of the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, which erupted around 4:15 pm, was brought under control around 5:00 pm as 10 firefighting units rushed to the spot, said Ziaur Rahman, duty officer of Fire Service control room.
The origin of the fire is yet to be known. However, no casualties have been reported in the incident, he added.
