SYLHET: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Dhaka on Thursday noon. After an hour stopover at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, the PM landed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 12:00pm.
Earlier, the premier held a meeting with ruling Awami League leaders in Sylhet during the break in her journey.
A Bangladesh Biman flight-BG-016 carrying the premier and her entourage members landed at Osmani at 10.05am. A group of AL and its associate organization leaders accorded a reception to the PM there.
Later, the plane left Osmai for Shahjalal at 11:12am in the day.
However, Sheikh Hasina, who left Dhaka in a 6-day visit to London on June 12, was accorded a civic reception by UK unit of Awami League. She also joined a reception hosted by Keith Vaz, chairman of All Party Parliamentary Group on Bangladesh in the House of Commons of the British Parliament.
She also visited the British Parliament and observed the maiden speech of her niece and also newly elected Labour Party MP Tulip Rezwana Siddique in the House of Commons.
She concluded her 6-day visit to London on June 17.
