DINAJPUR: At least three people were killed and 10 others injured in a road mishap in Kashigari area under Ghoraghat Upazila of the district on Thursday morning

Two of the deceased were identified as Sultan, 45, and Salam, 22,  while injured could not be identified.

Police sources said the mishap happened when a passenger bus hit a roadside banyan tree in the area around 9:15 as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving three dead on the spot and inuring 10 others.

The injured were admitted to the Upazila Heath Complex.

However, the bus was traveling toward the Upazila’s Gobindaganj from Dinajpur.

Ghoraghat Thana Officer-In-Charge Nuruzzaman Chudhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.
