COX’S BAZAR: Police arrested seven members of a human trafficking gang from Ukhia and Teknaf upazilas of Cox’s Bazar district.

The drives were conducted from Saturday midnight to 12:00pm on Sunday.

The arrestees have been identified as Unus Prakash, son of late Abul Kashem; Saddam Hossain, son of Darbesh Ali; Mohammad Amin, son of Hossain Sharif; Mohammad Hasan, son late Ishak and Syed Alam, son of Nur Mohammad.

The list also included Yunus, son of late Nazir Ahmed and Selim Uddin, son of Nurul Islam.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Cox’s Bazar additional police super Tofail Ahmed said that all the arrestees are accused in several trafficking cases.
