Modi arrives in Dhaka

DHAKA: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Dhaka at 10:10am on Saturday to begin his two-day visit to Bangladesh, highlighting connectivity and security issues apart from signing of a number of instruments and deals, aiming to take the ties between the two neighbouring countries to a newer height.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to welcome her Indian counterpart at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport as Modi has just arrived here by a special flight of India Air Force.
