DHAKA: A young boy was killed in a road accident in Jatrabari area of the city on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Rony, 14.

Witness Rafiqul Alam told banglanews that a speedy bus hit Rony, passenger of a human hauler, at his head when he moved it outside of the vehicle in the area, leaving him severely injured.

Later, Rafiqul took Rony to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 2:00pm.

DMCH police camp assistant sub-inspector (SI) Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.
