JAKARTA (INDONESIA): Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is addressing the plenary session Thursday as co-chair on the third and last day of Asian-African Conference.
She will also sit for bilateral meeting with three world leaders after the session.
The meetings will be held at Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Centre in Indonesia capital Jakarta from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
During the meetings, they will discuss different issues related to bilateral interest among the countries.
However, the plenary session will continue from 8:30am to 10:30am.
After that, Sheikh Hasina will meet Prime Minister of Palestine Dr Rami Hamdalllahar at 10:45am.
She will also meet Indonesian President Joko Widodo at 11:15am and Prime Minister of Nepal Sushil Koirala at 12:00pm.
Foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali, Prime Minster Office (PMO) secretary Suraiya Begum, foreign secretary M Shahidul Haque and first Bangladesh ambassador to Indonesia Nazmul Quaunine accompanied the premier at the three meetings.
Earlier, the premier met president of China Xi Jinping and former president of Indonesia Megawati Sukarnoputri on Wednesday.
After the plenary session, Sheikh Hasina met Qatar Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud and Japan’s Premier Shinzō Abe.
However, the premier in her address at Asian-African Conference urged to strengthen the cooperation between South and South nations.
