DHAKA: A worker died as he fell down from an under-construction building in city’s Pallabi DOHS area on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Abdus Salam (19), hailed from Nilphamari.

Salam’s coworker Riju Ahmed told banglanews that the victim fell down from the 2nd floor of a six-storey building while he was picking iron-rods.

He fell down for an electric shock as the rods came to a live wire, he added.

The victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on-duty doctor declare him dead on arrival.
