DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two people along with three tonnes of hilsa fry (jatka) from Karwan Bazar area of the city on Sunday morning.

The identity of the detainees could not be known.

A team of RAB-3 conducted a drive in fish cold storage at Karwan Bazar at 9am and arrested two people along with three tonnes of jatka, said Major maksudul Alam, kdeputy director of RAB (media wing).

The mobile court, run-by RAB, will try the detainees for their wrongdoings. 

RAB has been conducting anti-hilsa fry drives in city including Karwan Bazar, since last several days.
