DHAKA: Two electricians were electrocuted in Bijoy Shoroni area of the city while repairing a billboard early Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 39, and Abbas Ali, 30.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kafrul Thana Abdul Kaiyum confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the two electricians came in contact with a live wire while they were repairing the billboard in the area around 1:45am that left dead on the spot.

The bodies were kept under police custody in the thana, the OC added.
