BRAHMANBARIA: Law enforcers confirmed that rail communication from Dhaka to Sylhet restored Friday early morning.

Earlier at 9:15pm Thursday, intercity ‘Mahanagar Godhuli Express’ train hit a private car on its track at Kodda area in Brahmanbaria sadar upazila, resulting a three-hour communication halt.

Brahmanbaria Railway Police camp in-charge sub-inspector (SI) Zakaria said the communication has been restored as a relief train reached the place and removed the private car that made the obstacle.

However, driver of the private car is admitted at Sadar Hospital.
