DHAKA: A total of 140 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country Wednesday to ensure security of HSC examinees.
BGB public relations officer Mohsin Reza confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said 16 platoons BGB members have been deployed in the city while 124 platoons in different places of the outside Dhaka from 8:00am Wednesday to ensure security of 1,073,884 HSC examinees.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations are set to begin across the country Wednesday morning simultaneously amid a nationwide road-rail-waterway blockade for indefinite period, sponsored by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
The tests will begin at 10:00am at a total of 2,419 centers across over the country.
