Clash over tender in city, 1 injured

DHAKA: A man was injured when two groups locked into clashes over tender near Bidyut Bhaban under Shahbag Thana in the city’ Abdul Gani road on Tuesday.

The incident took place around 12:00pm.

The injured were indentified as Mamun, 30, who was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.

Shahbag Thana inspector (investigation) M Saidul confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Additional police force remained deployed in the area, said the inspector.
