DHAKA: Country’s largest health service institution Labaid Group will provide health service to the family members of widely-read online news portal banglanews24.com.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations at Banglanews Conference Room Tuesday noon in this regard.

Banglanews24.com Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain and Labaid Group Managing Director (MD) Dr AM Shamim inked the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

According to the MoU, the banglanews members will get 30 percent special discount from the hospital in pathological and biological tests and in investigations, 20 percent on X-ray, CT Scan, MRI Ultra Sonogram, ECG, ETT and ESHO, 15 percent on bed charge and 10 percent discount on the patients of PC R (DNA, RNA).

After the signing the deal, Dr Shamim said as banglanews is a popular online news portal, the Labaid is happy to become a part of the portal by providing health services.

Later, Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain showed Dr Shamim the departments of banglanews and introduced him with the members of the portal.

Commending the leadership of Editor-in-Chief, the Labaid MD said “I am fascinated seeing the zippy office of banglanews and this has been made possible with the dynamic leadership of Alamgir Hossain.”

“He has established the 24-hour updated news portal, earned popularity and put it on a strong economic condition”, he added.

Banglanews Consultant Editor Jewel Mazhar, Head of News Mahmood Menon Khan, Head of Marketing Sirajul Islam and Labaid’s General Manager (Operations) Jasim-ul-Haque, among others, were present at the event.
