AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): Train services of Dhaka with Chittagong and Sylhet suspended Saturday evening following a derailment at Gangasagor Rail Station under Akhaura upazila of the district.

No one was reportedly injured in the accident.

Loco-shade In-Charge of Akhaura Railway Junction M Mohsin Bhuiyan told banglanews that a compartment of Nasirabad Express train derailed here around 7:15pm.

A relief train from Akhaura has already reached the spot and started the salvage work, he added.
