DHAKA: The four-year-old boy Jihad died of drowning after suffering head injury in the water inside the 400 feet deep pipe at Shahjahanpur in the capital.
A report of 3-member board made the disclosure on Sunday morning.
Chairman of forensic department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Professor Habibuzzaman Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Ill fated kid Jihad fell inside the 17-inch diameter shaft, around 40 yards from his house in Shahjahanpur, around 4:30pm Friday while playing with other children.
Fire service failed to rescue him after 23 hours frantic effort and called off the operation.
Just after 15 minutes, when fire service left the hope of rescuing the boy, three local pump cleaners of a private company--- Rahmat, Abdullah Al Mamun and Sujan Das rescued the kid at 3:00pm by their brave effort.
Immediately after he had been rescued, the trapped four-year-old Jihad was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
