Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday (November 30) said that the government hopes Peter Haas will abide by the limits of his conduct as US ambassador.

He came up with the remark while talking to reporters during a press briefing at Awami League’s Dhanmondi office in the capital. 

Quader said, “The upcoming 12th parliamentary elections will take place with people’s participation. Female voters are reviving, and we are observing that. Awami Leagues ensures next elections will not be held without voters.” 

The minister urged the party candidates and activists to strictly follow the election code of conduct.

Govt will not disappoint the alliances with seats, he added.
