Bashundhara-Toma Group sign deal

DHAKA: From now on, Toma Group, country’s one of the leading construction firms, will use Bashundhara cement, in its construction projects.

In this regard, the organization signed a corporate agreement with Bashundhara Industrial Complex Limited, a concern of Bashundhara Group and also the manufacturer of Bashundhara cement, on Monday evening at five-star hotel The Westin Dhaka.

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the Managing Director of Bashundhara Group and Mohammad Ataur Rahman, Managing Director of Toma Group -- signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

However, under this harmony, Toma Group will use Bashundhara cement in its major construction projects, including Mouchak-Moghbazar Flyover, Concrete Grain Silo Project, Dhaka Civil Aviation Headquarters and Dinajpur Rail Bridge.

Toma Group, in the agreement signing, informed journalists that they choose Bashundhara cement due to the consistency of the quality as it is made of by the largest and latest Vertical roller mills (VRM) technology in the country.

Nevertheless, Md Giasuddin, Director (Procurement), and Md Abdul Hashem, Director (Finance) of Toma Group and Belayet Hossain, Senior Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Abu Tayeb, Adviser (Press & Media), MM Jasim Uddin, Head of Brand and Marketing, Khandakar Kingshuk Hossain, General Manager (Sales, Cement Sector), Kazi Fazle Rabbi Osmani, Deputy General Manager (Sales, Cement Sector) and Md Moniruzzaman, In-charge (Corporate Sales, Cement Sector) of Bashundhara Group were present at the signing ceremony.
