CHATTOGRAM: All sorts of operation of Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport have been suspended for fourteen hours.

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) decided to suspend from 4 pm of Saturday to 6 am of Sunday, as the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul is approaching the coastal areas of Bangladesh.

Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport’s Manager Wing Commander Sarwar E Zaman told Banglanews that next decision will be taken after considering weather conditions.  

Bangladesh Meteorological Department asked maritime port of Chittagong to hoist great danger signal number nine (9).

The cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’ is set to hit some time between evening and midnight of Saturday (November 9).
