Biman’s 4th Dreamliner 'Rajhangsha' arrives 'Rajhangsha' at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka

DHAKA: Biman Bangladesh Airlines added fourth Dreamliner aircraft to its fleet Saturday (September 14).

'Rajhangsha' was welcomed with a water-salute upon its landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4:40pm.

Manufactured by US-based Boeing Company, the 787-8 model aircraft was named by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She will very soon inaugurate it for commercial operation, said sources from the airport.

Boeing was scheduled to deliver Rajhangsha on September 12; which was delayed by a day.

In 2008, Biman signed a $ 2.1 billion deal with Boeing to buy 10 aircrafts.
