DHAKA: The board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the state owned aircraft carrier was dissolved.

Board of directors of Biman was dissolved in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday night.  

Although it’s a regular practice of the authority in every year but this year the manner of the organization has changed in a dissimilar mode.

The Biman officials assumed to experience a huge alteration to form new board of directors this year.

The new selection of board of directors is still halted due to the rollercoaster of last year.

However, the former chairman of Biman Bangladesh will be reassigned in the same post this year.

Biman had to bear a loss of Tk 214 crore in 2012-13 fiscal-year. In the previous year, the amount was about Tk 600-crore.
