DHAKA: Jannatul Nayeem Avril, a motorcycling aspirant from Chittagong, has been crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2017.
Securing the beauty title, 20-year-old gorgeous Avril is now set to represent Bangladesh in the Miss World Competition China.
The 67th World Beauty Pageants is scheduled to kick off in China in December.
However, Jesia Islam and Jannatun Sumaiya were announced the first and second runner-ups respectively.
The grand finale of Lovello Miss World Bangladesh 2017 Beauty pageants held at the Nabarattri Hall of International Convention City-Bashundhara (ICCB) on the graceful night of Friday (September 29).
The grandiose event started off with mesmerizing dance performed by Indian actress and model Shina Chohan.
Later, the top ten contestants enthralled the audience with their opinions mostly on women empowerment.
The judges in the grand finale were-- Fashion designer Bibi Rasel, actress Shampa Reza, magician Jewel Aich, photographer Chanchal Mahmud, Rubaba Dowla Matin and Sonia Kabir.
The program was anchored by Shina Chauhan.
Apart from the title sponsor Lovello Ice Cream, crown sponsor Amin Jewelers, Sajib Group, Rangdhunu Group, Vision were among other sponsored and associated the pageants.
