DHAKA: A four-day international tourism fair will be kicked off at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in city on Friday (April 8).

Civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon will inaugurate the fair, titled ‘Novoair-Dhaka Travel Mart-2016’, at 4:00pm on the day.

Fortnightly newspaper ‘The Bangladesh Monitor’ will organize the 13th edition of the fair with private airliner Novoair as title sponsor and Bangladesh Tourism Board and national carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines as partner organizations.

Fair organizing committee chairman and also The Bangladesh Monitor editor Kazi Wahidul Alam made this assertion at a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Wednesday afternoon (April 6).

Biman Bangladesh Airlines marketing department general manager Syed Ahsan Hossain Kazi and Novoair managing director Mafizur Rahman, among others, were present at the conference.

As many as 50 local and foreign organizations are expected to attend the fair, which will remain open from 10:00am to 8:00pm from April 9 to April 11.

However, the fair will be open from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on the inaugural day.
