DHAKA: Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to operate 16 extra flights on Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur route for bringing back stranded Bangladeshi workers from Malaysia.
According to a release of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry issued on Thursday (December 5), Biman will operate the additional 16 flights till December 31 by its Boeing 737 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The workers are the ones who got amnesty under “Back-for-Good” from the Malaysian government.
The amnesty for the workers will end on December 31 next while the illegal migrant workers are stagnated in Malaysia due to scarcity as well as high fare of air tickets.
