3 killed in Gazipur bus-auto rickshaw collision

GAZIPUR: Three persons were killed and two others injured following a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto rickshaw at Birujuli Dighirpar area in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur.

The accident happened on Dhaka-Kishoreganj road on Thursday (November 14).

Identities could not be confirmed.  Of the three deceased, two were men and a 5-year-old girl.

All the casualties were passengers of auto rickshaw. The injured were hospitalized locally, Md. Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police station, told Banglanews.
