COX’S BAZAR: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered one lakh and 10,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar on Friday night (September 13).

But, no one was detained.

“A BGB team raided just the moment when a shipment of yaba pills was about to smuggled into Bangladesh through Jailardwip of Naf River from Myanmar. Sensing BGB team’s presence, smugglers left behind a bag and dived into the river, fleeing across the jungle,” Teknaf-2 BGB captain Lt. Colonel Mohammad Faisal Hasan Khan told Banglanews
