S M Zulfiqure Ali, a Supreme Court lawyer, sent the notice on Thursday (December 19).

According to the notice, legal action will be taken against them for violating the constitution and tarnishing the character of freedom fighters if they do not tender their unconditional apology upon receipt of the notice within 24 hours.

The Liberation War Affairs Ministry withheld the list of 10,789 Razakars published on December 15 ahead of the country’s 49th the Victory Day as the list drew huge criticism over some mistakes along with earning appreciation from different quarters.
