Bangladesh likely to play against Sri Lanka in April

DHAKA: BCB has been discussing with the Sri Lanka cricket board to organize bilateral cricket series in April with the view to reduce the long gap of Bangladesh cricket team from international cricket matches as per future tour plan (FTP) of ICC.

BCB has made the move since the tigers have no international cricket match till August, reports cricfrenzy.com.

If everything goes well Bangladesh will play a complete series against Sri Lanka.

BCB CEO Nizam Uddin Ahmed said, “For arranging a series against Sri Lanka in April the officials of both the countries have been discussing. We want to play more test matches. Now let’s see what will be the final decision”.

The bilateral series is expected to include two test matches, three ODIs and two T20 matches.
