Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 6-wkt

DHAKA: Pakistan Under 19s chased down a meager 127-run target set by Afghanistan Under 19s in a Group B match of ICC U-19 World Cup at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Pakistan reached their target losing four wickets in 31.3-over. Zeeshan Malik, Hasan Mohsin, M Umar and Saif Badar scored 29, 28, 25 and 17 runs respectively.

Zia-ur-Rehman picked up two wickets for Afghanistan while Rashid Khan took one and Saif Badar was run out.

Earlier, Pakistan Under-19s won the toss and invited Afghans to bat first.

Afghanistan U-19s scored only 126-run losing all wickets in 41.2-over. Tariq was the top scorer with 53-run.

Of the Pakistan bowlers, Shadab Khan took four wickets while Hasan Mohsin picked up three.
