UAE struggling after losing 6 wickets

DHAKA: United Arab Emirates (UAE) are facing the undefeated champion India’s bowling in the team’s ICC World Cup Pool B match at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth on Saturday.

Till filling of this report, UAE scored 52 runs for six in 20 overs. They lost first three wickets where their score was at 28 runs.

Amjad Ali and Andri Berenger began UAE’s innings. Both made early walk to the pavilion. Umesh Yadav took Berenger’s wicket while Bhuvneshwar Kumar bagged Ali’s.

Three UAE batsmen – Krishna Chandran, Swapnil Patil and Khurram Khan, become victim of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Shaiman Anwar and     Amjad Javed are on the crease now with 6 and 2 runs respectively.

Earlier UAE captain Mohammad Tauqir won the toss and decided to bat. The match kicked off 12:30pm Bangladesh time.
