Pakistan beat Bangladesh

DHAKA: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 50-run in the 15th match of Super 10 round, also seventh game of Group 2, in the ICC World Twenty20 Sunday evening.

In response to Pakistan’s mammoth 190 for five, Bangladesh managed to score 140-run losing seven wickets.

Ahmed Shehzad’s 111 off 62-ball helped Pakistan to reach 190 in their stipulated 20-over.

Abdur Razzak bagged two wickets while Al-Amin Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah took one wicket each.

Shakib Al Hasan scored 38-run while Nasir Hosain scored 23.

Umar Gul took three wickets while Saeed Ajmal took two and Z Babar and S Afridi took one wicket each.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.

The match kicked-off at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of the city at 3:30pm local time.
