Kiwis eye big win against Dutch

DHAKA: New Zealand will face in a battle against tournament’s underdog Netherlands in the thirteenth match of Super10 stage, also seventh game of Group 1, of the ICC World T20 in Chittagong Saturday afternoon.

The match will kick off at 3:30 am at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

After having defeated England by nine runs via Duckworth-Lewis method in their rain-marred tournament opener, New Zealand suffered a narrow two-run loss at the hands of South Africa in their next match to be placed third in Group 1, which is being headed by Sri Lanka followed by South Africa on four points apiece.

News Zealand, if they manage a big win, will have an opportunity to claim the top place on the group’s point table whereas the result of another match of the day favours them.

This match is a must-win match for the Netherlands, if they hope to keep their race to the next round alive, as they have no triumphs after losing two times already earlier in this round.
