Defending champions Bangladesh will face Nepal this afternoon in the first semifinal of the SAFF U-19 Championship at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh, India. The match kicks off at 4:30pm.
The second semifinal between hosts India and the Maldives is scheduled for 8:30pm at the same venue.
Bangladesh topped Group A after a 2-2 draw with the Maldives and a convincing 3-0 win over Bhutan.
Nepal qualified as Group B runners-up with a 5-0 win against Sri Lanka and a 0-4 loss to India.
The Bangladesh U-19 squad includes players like Ismail Hossain Mahin, Nahidul Islam, Raj Chowdury, and Salah Uddin Sahed, among others.
