Pakistan won by 72-run

DHAKA: In the third match of 12th Asia Cup, defending champion Pakistan won by 72-run against debutant Afghanistan at Fatullah of Narayanganj on Thursday.

While chasing Pakistan’s 248-run, Afghanistan scored 176 runs loosing all wickets in 47.2-over at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium.

Earlier in the day, Afghan captain Mohammad Nabi won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan scored 248 runs for eight.

Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal scored his second ODI century with a six in the penultimate ball of Pakistan innings.
