Sri Lanka win T-20 series

DHAKA: Bangladesh won the T-20 series beating Bangladesh by 3 wickets in the second match in Chittagong on Friday.

The visitors scored 123 runs after the over-20 Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

The hosts lost all wickets to score 120 run in 19.5-over.  

Sabbir Rahman scored the highest 26 while Anamul Haque and Mashrafe took 24.

Malinga bagged the highest 3 wickets while Kulasekara and Senanayake picked 2 wickets each.     

Earlier on Wednesday, the visitors won the first match by two runs in Chittagong.

Bangladesh squad: Tamim Iqbal, Shamsur Rahman, Anamul Haque (wk), Shakib al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Farhad Reza, Mahmudullah/ Sohag Gazi, Mashrafe bin Mortaza (capt), Rubel Hossain, Arafat Sunny.

Sri Lanka squad: Kusal Perera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Dinesh Chandimal (capt and wk), Kumar Sangakkara, Angelo Mathews, Seekuge Prasanna, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Sachithra Senanayake, Lasith Malinga, Ajantha Mendis.
