Title contenders Bashundhara Kings will take on Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society in the second quarterfinal of the ABG Bashundhara Federation Cup 2023-24 today (April 16).

The match will take place at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj at 03:00pm (BST).

Kings earlier reached the knockout stage as the three-team Group C toppers after beating Fortis Football Club and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Ltd by the same 1-0 goal margin.

On the other side, Rahmatganj MFS qualified for the quarters as the first third-placed team.

The old Dhaka outfit, who were placed in the four-team Group A, earned a 2-2 draw with Police FC but lost to Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd by 1-4 goals.

Meanwhile, the ongoing domestic season 2023-24 resumed on Monday after a six-day break for Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh with two round 12 matches of the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) 2023-24.

BFF Elite Academy Football Team played out a goalless draw with NoFeL Sporting Club while Fakirerpool Young Men's Club beat Wari Club by 3-1 in their respective matches at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
