BNP has picked Salahuddin Ahmed and Sheikh Mohammad Rezaul Karim as its candidates for the by-polls to Dhaka-5 and Naogaon-6 constituencies respectively.

BNP chairperson’s press wing members Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the nomination to Banglanews on Sunday evening.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, BNP’s nomination board interviewed 29 aspirants for four seats- Dhaka-5, Dhaka-18, Naogaon-6 and Sirajganj-1.

However, the party has not announced its pick for the Dhaka-18 and Sirajganj-1 constituencies. 

The Election Commission has not yet announced the schedule for the by-elections to those two constituencies.
