Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nabila Nur, daughter of Nur Hossain Hiru, for her outstanding performance in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

Nabila Nur, whose father was reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance in Chauddagram, Cumilla, in 2011, achieved remarkable results in the HSC exams held earlier this year. Upon learning of her success, Tarique Rahman sent his greetings and a special gift to recognize her achievement.

Following Tarique Rahman’s instructions, Atikur Rahman Rummon, Convener of “Amra BNP Poribar” and a member of the BNP Media Cell, organized a delegation to deliver the message and gift to Nabila Nur at her residence in the Signboard area of Narayanganj district yesterday evening.

The delegation included Agriculturist Mokhsedul Momin Mithun, Member-Secretary of Amra BNP Poribar, and Zahidul Islam Roni, Member of the Managing Committee of the National Press Club.

Nur Hossain Hiru, originally from Chauddagram in Cumilla, was serving as Organizing Secretary of the Greater Uttara Thana unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal when he reportedly disappeared on June 20, 2011. The BNP leadership continues to honor the family while acknowledging Nabila Nur’s academic success.
