Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, who tested positive for Covid-19, has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital (CMCH) in the capital on Friday morning.

Advocate Masud Mia, who is looking after Mahbubey Alam at the hospital, confirmed this information to media.

“He was shifted to the ICU this morning as his condition deteriorated slightly,” he said.

Mahbubey Alam was admitted to the hospital on September 4 after testing positive for the virus.
