RANGPUR: At least four people were killed and 10 injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a tempo in Hajirhat area on Rangour-Dinajpur highway in Rangpur district on Sunday evening.

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Rangpur district police super (SP) Mohammad Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that three persons died on the spot while one died in undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital in Rangpur.

Witnesses said that the passenger bus was going to Dinajpur from Rangpur. It came to a head-on collision with a passenger tempo at Hajirhat.
