DINAJPUR: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Shalbon area in Birganj Upazila municipality of the district Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Anwarul Islam, 28, son of Abu Bakar Siddique at Karipur village and Helal Uddin, 30, son of Hefaz Uddin at Tusilpur village of the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Birganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Hossain told banglanews that a Panchagarh-bound bus crashed into the motorcycle carrying Helal and Bakar around 9:00am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies.
