COX’S BAZAR: Police detained three members of a human trafficking gang in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Monday.

The traffickers include Khair Hossain (45), son of Ali Hossain, Abdur Rahman (35), son of late Haji Abul Kashem and Ali Hossain (30), son of Ali Ahmed of Sabrang area of the upazila.

Teknaf Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Ataur Rahman Khandakar told banglanews that they conducted a drive this morning and nabbed the tree traffickers of a gang.

Legal actions will be taken against the detainees, he added.
