DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate a 3-day South Asia Right to Food (SARF) conference in city on May 30.
Conference council members informed the media at CIRDAP auditorium Monday noon.
They said that the premier will inaugurate the upcoming SARF conference at Krishibid Institute of Khamar Bari in city at 3:30pm on May 30.
Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi of India and Bangladesh food minister Qamrul Islam will also attend the conference.
Moreover, finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will be present at the concluding ceremony on June 1.
Council chair Dr Kazi Khaliluzzaman Ahmed, Oxfam country director Snehal Soneji and Concern Worldwide country director AKM Musa, among others, were present at the press conference.
Council secretary and Mohsin Ali read out a written statement at the conference.
