DHAKA: Government promoted a total of 872 officials to deputy, joint and additional secretary levels Monday.

Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) has issued separate gazette notifications at the night in this regard following the approval from the Prime Minster’s Office.

Sources of MoPA’s Appointment Promotion and Deputation (APD) wing said that as many as 231 joint secretaries have made additional secretaries, 299 deputy secretaries made joint secretaries, and 342 senior assistant secretaries made deputy secretaries.
